My Goal: 1 hour, but minimum 30min of writing fiction during workdays and 2 hours any day I’m not working.
I’m still working the kinks out of my internet breaking, but the breaks I had were glorious. Writing was done, progress made. I again didn’t keep track of how long I wrote, but it was a few more pages I didn’t have last we met. I also worked on my blogging and I’ve got this week all set. I plan on getting next week written before the next update. This may require me to write myself a list like 365 days.
The best method was to do my writing before going online. I slipped one day and those damn links sucked me and my day away, but in between I did some work on tweetdeck to make it easier to keep up with what’s happening on twitter.
So that’s it. And in the spirit on inspiration, some blogs and other stuff I highly recommend.
Claire Legrand channeled her boobs into some serious motivation to be the best writers we can be. Braving the Plunging Neckline or the Importance of Raising the Stakes.
Kait Nolan’s been on fire this week with her blogging and this one, End The Ignorance, was a great way to end the week. It’s a call to stop the nonsense over an indie’s worth in the publishing world, but there’s also a distinction she makes between professionals (Those pursuing a writing career seriously and putting in the work.) and everyone else. No matter your publishing path, it’s something we can and should get behind.
And finally, some of you may have heard of Susan Bischoff’s internet unplug. We don’t know when she’ll be back, but if you’ve got a minute, why not send some love to her twitter stream so she has some sweetness to come back to.
Info Stuff- Follow my ROW80 progress every Wednesday and Sunday and for the month of February, Tuesdays and Thursdays will be devoted to my Love series. Eight loves that have shaped me into the writer I am.
